How to do church Part 2: put an end to disagreements and divisions
Memo
To: The members of this church
From: God
CC: The members of every church across the whole world
Date: 4/6/18
Re: Disagreements and divisions
It has been brought to my attention that disagreements and divisions are developing among you, both at a local level and a national and international level.
Some members are gathering around key influential figures within this movement and creating division. Some members are inciting disagreement over matters of doctrine. Some members are no longer treating other groups with respect, by implying that their way is the only way of serving and worshipping and that any other way is to be ridiculed and dismissed.
This has got to stop.
Remember that you all serve one God. You all follow the way of Jesus, my Son.
It is time to seek out what unites you all and not what divides.
I’m announcing today that our target for this organisation is to be perfectly united. That’s the long term aim and I will be expecting to see evidence that you are working towards this goal in all that you say and do.
NOTE: This information applies to all members of my church everywhere. No one is exempt.
