Be like Paul #14: IMPRESSED
INTRODUCTION: We all need role models in the faith. In 1 Corinthians 4:16, Paul says ‘Therefore I urge you to imitate me.’ Now Paul may not seem the obvious choice as a role model. Paul’s had a bad press for some of the things he’s said, statements that have been taken out of context and used to promote prejudice and condemnation. However, Paul’s passion for the good news of the Jesus story can be an inspiration to us all and so this month, we’re using the ‘Be like Bob’ meme that went viral on Facebook last year as a framework for our journey through 2 Corinthians.
Be like Paul.

THIS IS PAUL
Paul sees that we’re easily distracted and easily impressed.
Paul says we shouldn’t just be impressed by fancy words, but that we should look at the whole life.
Those who talk the talk need to walk the walk.
