INTRODUCTION: We all need role models in the faith. In 1 Corinthians 4:16, Paul says ‘Therefore I urge you to imitate me.’  Now Paul may not seem the obvious choice as a role model. Paul’s had a bad press for some of the things he’s said, statements that have been taken out of context and used to promote prejudice and condemnation. However, Paul’s passion for the good news of the Jesus story can be an inspiration to us all and so this month, we’re using the ‘Be like Bob’ meme that went viral on Facebook last year as a framework for our journey through 2 Corinthians.

Be like Paul.

THIS IS PAUL

Paul knows all too well that people mess up.

But Paul believes in forgiveness.

He is not capable of this – or anything! – on his own.

Paul relies on God’s help in all things.

BE LIKE PAUL
